Mortgage Consultant Course

Do I have to pay back the guarantee paid by company (Please read for better explaination)?

Hi,

wondered if anyone might help. I worked as a mortgage consultant and upon starting employment the offer was of course a basic wage + for 6 months a guaranteed additionally paid commission (as it takes a while to build up pipeline etc) I have left due to credit crunch etc. They have now issued me with an invoice. Am I legally obliged to pay this? What might happen if i do not. could they issue a CCJ for example.

For more info.. there was a standard document that I signed saying if i did leave i would pay back the commission, they made us sign it with contract of employment etc.
Thanks to all who answered. Much Obliged.

Take your contract to citizens advice bureau, you may have a ‘get out’ under the unfair contract terms legislation, but you should be prepared to pay it (or some of it) back, depending on the exact circumstances that caused you to leave.

Big home improvement retailers are feeling the pain
Americans are delaying renovations to kitchens and bathrooms, curbing sales at Home Depot Inc. and Lowe’s Cos. and underscoring Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke’s concerns that the recovery is “disappointingly slow.”

The above mentioned are the basic requirements in order to qualify for a home loan. Secondly, I was interested to know how big a home loan I could get considering Mortgage Consultant Course. As soon as I knew how much, I could start searching for a house.

Mortgage questions! How much money is needed?

We are doing an FHA loan, which has been approved by $ 150,000 (which probably only will need 140,000 of that) You just have to put 3% down (to 4500). AFTER the payment cost, how much money should we save the closing costs. Our mortgage consultant sent us a page of good faith estimate and estimated closing costs will be 4622. (Of course, its just a estimate, could be more or less) I have curiosity the amount of money that must be saved. We are responsible for payment, no more need for a down payment. At this point it's just about closing costs and other charges that I am not fully conscious. Obviously depends on how much a lawyer and used the lawyer, but it is likley that the share $ 1,000 attorney's will?

I would say its in the $ 4,622 figures are quite close. Our loan was for $ 178,000 and if I recall costs end were about $ 4,800. Good luck with your new home. I think the fee that surprised me most was the attorney cost of nearly $ 500. Not that I was not expecting much.
