Mortgage Consultant Manager

What recourse can I take against a dishonest mortgage consultant?

My mortgage consultant made a mistake on my refinance application that caused my first application to be denied. After correcting the mistake and resubmitting the application, he told me point blank that the rate lock had been transferred to my corrected application. With the mistake corrected, I was approved for the refinance, but the rate lock had not transferred and my interest rate went up 1%. He left me voice mails stating that my rate had transferred, but would not provide it in writing even upon request. I am going to try and speak to his branch manager, but if I don’t hear what I want, I would like to know what avenue I can pursue next.

File a complaint with the Licensing Board overseeing his license.
File a lawsuit in small claims court seeking the amount of damages

So who exactly is my Personal Banker or How do I go about hiring one ?

Ok. I am 29. I don’t have a investment plan as of yet and neither do I have a mortgage ..But what I do have is student loans and I need some expert advice on this from someone. I was doing some research on Business Manager’s/Consultant’s and it seems like they are pretty costly.

So I did some further research and came upon this term ” Personal Banker” . Now I try to avoid my banker as much as I can for no specific reason except that I had some bad experiences with them in the past. But are these the same people we are talking about here? Or is it a different entity altogether?

Anyway, please tell me how I can go about hiring a personal banker for my own financial planning in the long term . I just got a job and won’t get paid till next month . But as soon as I do I will need some advice! Thanks

A personal banker is generally a teller at a bank.
Or one that can help you open a savings or a checking account

Did you know there are books at the bookstores you can read on perspersonalances, budgeting, retirement, investing, credit repair, etc?
Why hire a financial advisor all this yourself
