Mortgage Consultant California
I’m an asst to a mortgage broker but I want to become a MTG broker myself–any ideas on what I should do?
I live in California–and I have no contacts in this industry other then my boss. I wish to become a mortgage loan consultant but have no clue as to how to begin. I’m working on getting my license and will get it very soon—i see to get 90s on all my practice tests.
I’m scared because I’m not sure about the mortgage guidelines from lender’s or the many mortgage products out there. My biggest fear are actually dealing with the realtors–but I’m just 21 and have plenty of time to develop my business man skills—though I will not allow myself to become a fraudulent mortgage broker.
Why are you afraid of Realtors? They don’t know the mortgage business anymore than a brand new student would so they are a threat.
Some do come across as if they understand but you will be the first one they call when they don’t have the answer to their Buyers questions.
Have you originated loans? Have you processed loans? Next step is Loan Officer which if you are good with the process should be right up your alley. Have you been able to sit down with Buyers to help them understand their loan docs?
You don’t have to worry about bing a fraudulent mortgage broker as there are plenty out there enough to take care of all of us 10 times over.

Pimco Said to Seek at Least $1 Billion for Fund to Buy Troubled Bank Loans
Pacific Investment Management Co., manager of the world’s largest mutual fund, is raising at least $1 billion for a private fund to buy troubled loans from banks divesting assets to meet new rules, said two people briefed on the plans.
The above mentioned are the basic requirements in order to qualify for a home loan. Secondly, I was interested to know how big a home loan I could get considering Mortgage Consultant California. As soon as I knew how much, I could start searching for a house.

Hello, does anyone know of a great mortgage training system that is available on dvd’s? I live in california and would like to get a system that educates me on the total lending process from start to finish, understanding interest rates, the difference between conventional and FHA loans, understanding underwritters, understanding rates, processing loans etc…..just every aspect of becomming an effective loan consultant. I know some of you will probably tell me to just read books, but I want a system that is dvd structured.
