Mortgage Consultant Assistant

I’m looking to become a legitimate mortgage loan consultant but need some advise or a mentor?

I’m currently working for a mortgage broker as an assistant but I’m looking to start my own loans. I need a mentor who can at least give me some helpful advise in how to practice mortgage consultation and brokering within California. Personally, I not looking to become rich just self-employed.

It makes me sick when I see loan reps charge more points then they deserve. Is there anybody out there who can help me?

I would be happy to help you, I feel the same way. I believe that there are people charging far more than their “expertise” level should permit.

I believe that it’s the responsiblity of a loan officer/broker to look out primarily for the needs of a client (fiduciary duty). As a broker, I can tell you it’s more expensive than you might think to start your own business, but there is help out there. Hope to hear from you.

While our leaders boast of limiting public debt, assets are being sold to the tune of $400 billion since 2007.

The above mentioned are the basic requirements in order to qualify for a home loan. Secondly, I was interested to know how big a home loan I could get considering Mortgage Consultant Assistant. As soon as I knew how much, I could start searching for a house.
