My poor neighbors….what do you think of their plight?

About 8 months ago, my neighbor got laid off when his plant closed down and layed off 1000 workers, cause the company was going to open a new plant overseas. He wound up finding work, but nowhere near what he was making before so.. he had to basically work 2 jobs to help make ends meet. He lost all benefits, and had no insurance coverage when a few months ago, his wife fell ill and had to be hospitalized. By the time she left the hospital, they got a bill for $50,000. When his wife fell ill, she lost her job and is unable to get back to work. Now they are behind on their mortgage, and facing foreclosure. They $160,000, but the house is only worth about $145,000 based on a recent appraisal.
They are a real nice family, but its really amazing how their lives have been thrown upside down in such a short time. He says that he has to drive over 30 miles each day to go to work, and even the price of gasoline is killing him

My guess is you live in Ohio or Michigan.
Home values are losing 30% a year here in Ohio and likely Michigan as well. In my neighborhood, there are 3 foresclosure in just 2 blocks.
You are right, the rest of the country just don’t know how bad it has gotten in the mid west. If you lose you job right now, you are sunk. There are no jobs to go to. You have to relocate to another area after selling your house for less than you owe on it.

Findings help with an FHA loan on a new mortgage?

I applied for a mortgage loan with FHA 02/04/1908 Bank of America, I was denied because he had a medical collection on my report for $ 233, and my score was 610. I had the same job for 7 years. Anyway, which led them until 11/2/1908 to say no, but he ordered an evaluation by the FHA in the house I am buying the 09/02/2008, and was valued at 10/02/1908. My officer said he was going to call Bank of America and see if they will provide us with the assessment made at home. I did not pay anything in advance for the assessment, which was to be filmed in my close. My good faith estimate for the loan with the company rolled into a new Mortgage Appraisal Fee in the end too, but my agent said I might have to pay the Bank of America to launch this assessment. What do you think yalls?

B, a payment assessment for what is theirs. Most likely will not be released without being paid, and they can do that. I'm not sure why you want it if it came in less than its purchase price anyway. Just a new fact. You'll have to pay anyway (usually around $ 300).
