step by step guide to real estate closing.?
I am purchasing a condo in a high rise with about 40 units. my mortgage financer has scheduled an appraisal for my unit. can anyone give me simple step by step guide as to the various steps involved in home purchase from appraisal until closing? like inspection, insurance, title company etc.
It varies by state and by mortgage co requirements. But, you’ll probably need a physical inspection, pest and mold inspection, If the seller is paying for repairs there will be a final inspection to make sure every defect has been corrected. The mortgage co. probably has a title co. they prefer to do business with, I wouldn’t worry about anything except for showing up to closing with an ID and cashiers check.
